FCT POSITION SUMMARY:

The Field Colleague Trainer is a critical team member within the CVS Health Enterprise, Learning, Development and Performance – Center of Excellence (ELD&P) within the Human Resources department and reports to the Field Training Supervisor. Field Colleague Trainers will manage colleagues through their LearnRx training program by coordinating activities with colleagues, managers, and coaches. FCT’s build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging data to continually evaluate the learner experience to measure training effectiveness and colleague performance.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual & live classroom training for select programs as needed – NCO, PREP and ASHP

  • Manages trainees through the LearnRx2.0 training program to ensure completion within the expected timeline

  • Monitor, assess and manage the engagement and overall execution progress to identify opportunities and provide mitigation plans as necessary

  • Monitor and conduct key assessments during the training process, reviews results with the PM, and provides mitigation plans when necessary

  • Schedule new hires in the SDS as defined within the training program's structure

  • Identifies eligible colleagues at SDS locations, assigns and facilitates the required training for them to become coaches

  • Assess Skill Development Store coaching environments and escalates gaps to field leaders for mitigation

  • Monitor dashboard daily to identify and address opportunities that may impact the experience or execution of the program

  • Monitors curriculum progress, partners with store team/district leader (DL) when needed for root cause analysis to ensure colleague graduation from the LRx program

  • Build and manage relationships with Field RX Management, Pharmacy Managers, peers and Field Training Supervisors.

  • Establish regular communication touchpoints with field leaders to provide update on trainee progress and propose mitigation plans when necessary

  • Leads monthly "State of the District" Meeting with RX DLs to provide training updates

  • Travel within their market weekly to complete training activities, manage the quality of each SDS, and develop coaches when needed

  • Escalates all training concerns weekly to DL for follow-up, partnering with FTS/HRBP when necessary

Required Skills & Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in a customer service, training delivery or relevant work experience

  • Nationally Certified Technician (CPhT via PTCB or ExCPT) or commits to becoming nationally certified within 6 months of hire

  • Licensed/Registered Technician within the state of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training Certificate or Licenses

Education:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required

The Field Training Supervisor (FTS) is a critical team member within the CVS Health Enterprise, Learning, Development and Performance – Center of Excellence (ELD&P) within the Human Resources department and reports to the Field Training Manager. Field Training Supervisors will lead Field Colleague Trainers who manage colleagues through their LearnRx training program by coordinating activities with colleagues, managers, and coaches. FTS’s build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging data to continually evaluate the learner experience to measure training effectiveness and colleague performance.

The ideal candidate has a relentless passion to lead a team of approximately 5-12 Field Colleague Trainers (FCT) that drive innovative, engaging and measurable training experiences, improving colleague sentiment and business outcomes.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the onboarding and staffing of FCTs in respective region(s)

  • Manages FCT team payroll and is accountable for maintaining financial budgets

  • Develops and implements strategies to maintain and improve team engagement

  • Guide the growth and professional development of FCT through feedback and coaching based on training program results

  • Leverages data to identify team performance opportunities; conducts root cause analysis and develop action plans for improvement

  • Manages FCT completion of key assessments in the training program providing feedback and follow-up if necessary

  • Develops a comprehensive plan with FCT to improve training efforts in the region

  • Lead the execution of the LearnRx training program within assigned regions

  • Monitor dashboard daily to identify and address opportunities that may impact the experience or execution of the training program

  • Monitors curriculum progress, partners with RD/HRBP when needed to support FCT and ensure colleague graduation from the LearnRx program

  • Establish regular communication touchpoints and travel days with field leaders to provide update on trainee progress and propose mitigation plans when necessary

  • Escalates training concerns to the Region Director and Human Resource Business Partner and coordinates mitigation plans, partnering with FTM/DVP if necessary

  • Direct integrity concerns in Skill Development Stores to RD's and HRBP's

Required Skills & Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a training delivery capacity or relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and/or managing others

  • Training certificates or licenses (training design or delivery).

  • Located within the position’s market.

  • Knowledge and experience with adult learning principles and their application in the classroom and in course development.

  • Organizational, time management and problem-solving skills for multi-demand and multi-priority environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year colleague or equivalent relevant work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $35.29

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
