Under the direction of the Director, performs a broad scope of business operations functions encompassing both financial and human resource activities. Provides support on matters of billing, payroll, administrative procedures, clinical schedules for all divisions, budgets, and personnel either through direct action, advice or as liaison with other managers as appropriate.

This Business Operations Administrator - Radiology will be responsible to:

  • Develop and maintain rules associated with the Radiology Department’s Neuro-Radiology, Interventional Radiology, and Pediatric Radiology LightningBolt schedules

  • Develop documentation and standard operating procedures for various physician-scheduling processes

  • Serve as a backup to admin assistants who generate the Radiology Department’s LightningBolt schedules for each division

  • Prepare ad hoc and standard schedule reporting and act as a liaison between schedulers and the Finance Team

  • Track physician, fellow, and resident scheduled shifts and time off requests and any additional requests

  • Report on FTE/Volume/RVU KPIs to physician and administrative leadership

  • Perform various admin functions for senior staff, management team and staff. Is an active member of unit based/program leadership team.

  • Work with dept administrator and clinician leaders to develop, implement, and evaluate department’s programs and services that support department goals and objectives. Participate in business planning, identifying personnel needs and resource requirements.

  • Develop and implement support systems and processes that measure clinical and admin productivity, volume, revenue, clinical outcomes, patient and staff satisfaction or other work improvement indicators. Collaborate with other peers, staff, or services to determine best practices, desired outcomes and best method of achieving and reporting outcomes. Analyze and prepare reports on all measurement and process improvement activities.

To qualify, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or health care admin or closely related field and a min of 3 years relevant experience is required.

  • Ability to effectively manage the employees within assigned dept and to persuade and negotiate with peer level managers on issues and programs

  • Ability to work independently and use skills of judgment and inquiry to support and advance overall programmatic hospital goals and initiatives

  • Hybrid/remote - Main Building - 2nd Floor. 2-3 days a week in house.
