Define qualification requirements (specifications) to meet industry JEDEC standards as well as internal Micron technical requirements. Comprehend failures and failure rate within the scope of the qualification. Perform risk assessment at all decision points within qualification cycle. Review qualification data and sign off that Qual requirements have been met. Issue internal product release notifications for Qual. Develop Product Reliability Methodology, Monitors, Metrics, and Specifications. Coordinate with research and development teams. Comprehend new DRAM processes/technologies for product reliability issues. Develop product reliability tests to assess new DRAM failure mechanisms. Coordinate/drive necessary specification definition on existing products. Establish and Enforce Quality Requirements. Establish and review Reliability Metrics. Establish and review Quality Metrics. Assess deviation for DRAM product quality and reliability risk. Define evaluation(s) necessary to mitigate risk. Review Excursion Analysis. Review Conversion Analysis. Communicate violations to defined release/acceptance criteria. Analyze risk to any violations. Communicate issues and corrective actions across all Micron products. Provide Expertise and Consultation. Support Global Qual Meetings. On-board new team members. Train, mentor, and develop new talent. Provide part qualification data for internal and external customers. Interface with Engineering groups on quality issues.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Quality Engineer-related occupation.
