CVS Health Pharmacy Technician - $2500 BONUS - Sterile Compounding in Boise, Idaho

This position includes a $2500 retention bonus for external new hires. You will receive a portion after 3 months of employment and the remainder after 12 months of employment.

Position Summary

  • Meets established productivity and quality standards.

  • Assists pharmacist in facilitating and coordinating the preparation of sterile admixtures in horizontal flow hoods.

  • Completes and documents calculations on product preparation before preparing product.

  • Prepare compounds, run APEX compounding machine, and use other sterile compounding devices, as needed.

  • Must be able to lift 15-25lbs repetitively, throughout the day.

  • Works closely with inventory personnel to promote accurate inventory management.

  • Sanitizes, cleans, and maintains cleanroom/prep room suite daily.

  • Must abide and adhere to USP 797, 800, and applicable policies and procedures.

  • Records and maintains pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs in the pharmacy approved documentation system.

  • Performs any and all other duties, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a valid (non-expired) Idaho Pharmacy Technician license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PTCB or NHA certification

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in sterile compounding

or

  • 2+ year(s) of pharmacy technician experience.

Education

  • Preferred, PTCB / NHA certification

  • High School Diploma / GED

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $25.65

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
