We are looking for a talented Senior Accountant to join our team at our office located in Blue Bell, PA. This position requires specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience in applying US generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) to assist in IPS's monthly financial close process. In this role, you'll exhibit professional standards, ethical principles, and attention to detail while working on numerous routine and ad hoc accounting support functions. Position Responsibilities Posts journal, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions. Classifies and codes transactions to appropriate accounts. Reconciliation of general ledger and bank accounts in accordance with predetermined standards on a routine basis. Takes the necessary steps to adjust any discrepancies. Assists with the preparation of monthly work papers and other account analyses. Assists with the Monthly Financial Close process and includes the monthly consolidation process to produce US GAAP-compliant financial statements for US and Foreign Operations. Assists with the distribution of Monthly Financial Reporting Packages and other reports or analyses generated by the department. Assists with internal/external auditor information requests. Creates reports as requested and provides statistical and financial analysis of the data so key staff can make strategic conclusions. Organizes, manages, and tracks multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Bachelors degree in Accounting is required. 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines. Highly reliable with strong organizational skills to manage a large number of documents and information. Very strong analytical skills and knowledge of general ledger accounting. Advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel including pivot table and MS Query skills, along with proficiency using other MS Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Expereince using Oracle Fusion is a plus. About Us
