Role and Responsibilities: - Work closely with the estimating team to review project requirements and provide technical input for accurate cost estimations. - Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed audiovisual system designs, including equipment selection, layout, schematics, and documentation. - Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements. - Provide technical support and guidance to project managers and field technicians during the implementation phase. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the installation and commissioning of AV systems. - Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the audiovisual industry to continuously improve design processes and solutions. - Participate in project meetings, client presentations, and site visits as required Qualifications and Education Requirements: - Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field. - Some years of experience in audiovisual system design and integration. - Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) for creating detailed design drawings. - Strong understanding of audiovisual equipment, including displays, projectors, audio systems, control systems, and signal processing devices. - Experience with AV design software (e.g., D-Tools, Visio) is a plus. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Project management experience or certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, etc.) is advantageous. - Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
