Lockheed Martin Transformation Org Change Management Lead in Bethesda, Maryland

The senior manager of Organizational Change Management (OCM) will have responsibility to lead the Change Management team for 1LMX (enterprise-wide transformation). This lead will shape the change management strategy, and be responsible for successful adoption across the enterprise of new processes, tools and behaviors.

This role will update and manage a far-reaching operating model of “hub and spoke” change management teams who are responsible for full readiness and adoption of new process, tools and ways of working. This role will set the enterprise OCM strategy, be responsible for interfacing with executives and key business partners, deploying best in class engagement, communications, training, readiness and adoption measurement approaches.

This role will closely partner with transformation executives, business leaders, technology partners and program management to ensure the successful adoption of the 1LMX Transformation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the 1LMX Organizational Change Management core team, responsible for enterprise-wide transformational OCM Strategy, standardized plans, and leading-edge implementation.

• Directing and leading program-wide and executive engagement activities. Ensuring implementation of the latest in OCM best practices, tools and stakeholder engagement.

• Managing the success of 1LMX OCM efforts, data reporting, and integration of core efforts with business area-specific OCM efforts.

• Direct leader for a team of teams who are leading OCM efforts. Fostering a culture of ongoing feedback, recognition, and employee development. Enabling a culture of empowerment while ensuring close coordination across the complex organizational structures.

• Foreseeing and managing risks and issues for the 1LMX OCM implementation.

• Ensures successful support and adoption of product launches across the full lifecycle of 1LMX initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven experience in leading organizational change management for enterprise-level transformations.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in highly related field or equivalent experience in organizational transformation or change management.

• Significant experience with organizational change management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Organizational change management elements include: human-centered design OCM approaches, communications, learning, sponsorship, advocacy networks, readiness assessments, adoption metrics, go-live support model, transition activities and tie-in to culture changes.

• Excellent consultation, communication, and organizational change management strategy competencies as well as demonstrate project management skills, with a focus on business impact and solving complex problems.

• Excellent people leadership skills and proven experience in leading a team of teams.

• Project management experience with good attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience managing multiple high visibility projects.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Experience in identifying and mitigating program-level risks.

• Ability to think strategically as well as deploy detailed tactical, results-driven implementation plans.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in technology implementations and tools.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, build effective relationships with stakeholders and partners, and consult with leaders across the enterprise.

Desired Skills:

• Prior technology transformation experience with the ability to provide insights into best practices.

• Strong executive presence and executive presentation experience.

• Change management certification or familiarity with the details of Prosci.

• Experience managing external contract vendor relationships.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $154,100 - $290,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $256,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
