Minimum/Required Qualifications Assistant Rank: A doctoral degree from an accredited university in Kinesiology or closely related Health Sciences field. Expertise in the area of exercise physiology. Demonstrable commitment to high teaching and student mentoring standards. Prior teaching experience in the field of Kinesiology or closely related Health Science fields. Demonstrated potential to engage in and develop scholarly work. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Associate Rank: All of those qualifications listed for Assistant Rank. Evidence of excellence in graduate student mentoring. Teaching, curriculum development and scholarly achievements consistent with other Associate Professors of Teaching at OSU For individuals seeking the rank of Associate Professor, the candidate should meet the criteria for appointment at the desired rank as detailed by the OSU Promotion & Tenure guidelines. Position Duties Teaching \' 75% Teaching in area of expertise across the wide range of Kinesiology curriculum including but not limited to Exercise Physiology, Applied Muscle Physiology, Exercise Physiology Lab Methods, Physical Activity and Assessment, Scientific Inquiry in Kinesiology. Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity \' 15% Engage in research and scholarship that is recognized at the national and international level in the field of Kinesiology or Health Sciences with a focus in the area of exercise physiology. Disseminate research results by publication in peer-reviewed journals and formal peer-reviewed presentations at scientific meetings. Service \' 10% Participate in activities that support, enhance, or extend the work and missions of the Kinesiology program, OSU-Cascades campus, college and/or university. Serve on committees and participate in activities in service of the program and larger issues. Interact with others in a collegial and professional manner.
