A Quality Control Inspector in the Beltsville, MD area is needed for a multinational power management company. This role involves inspecting manufactured parts for compliance, interpreting blueprints and utilizing advanced measuring techniques, maintaining quality standards, generating documentation, and supporting operations to meet internal and external goals.

work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:

  • Visually and manually inspect manufactured parts according to acceptance criteria.

  • Interpret advanced blueprints, assembly drawings, and various measuring technique results (CMM, Keyence, FARO arm) to ensure compliance.

  • Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and inspection plans based on drawings and standard templates.

  • Record and document inspection findings for receiving, in-process, and final inspections, initiate Fast Response when necessary.

  • Maintain certifications such as plating inspection, weld inspector, general inspector, and hardness testing.

  • Engage in 5S+ activities to uphold workplace organization and cleanliness.

  • Uphold quality integrity and generate non-conformance reports for parts that do not meet specifications.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum three years of manufacturing experience.
