STAINLESS TANK & EQUIPMENT CO Maintenance Technician in BELOIT, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: SCOPE OF ROLE Supports the general and preventative maintenance efforts within the facility. Assists the facility in accomplishing its goals of increased efficiencies, scrap reduction, reduction of downtime, and developing new products by providing the best technical support possible. This position will report on second shift. Hours and work week will be determined upon hire. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and Responsibilities Inspects, operates, tests, and repairs machinery or equipment Performs routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, Maintenance will consist of but is not limited to: Complete rebuilds, performance enhancements and day to day maintenance, to improve production efficiency. Engages in continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and maintainability Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement Participates with the Facilities/Maintenance and EHS Manager and Production Team in purchasing new, rebuilt, or upgraded equipment for projects. Helps to identify project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource scheduling Understands blueprints, schematics, manuals, and techniques for working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and, hydraulic systems. Exercises efficient document control (work orders, inventory control etc.) Performs basic facility maintenance building repairs (inside and outside) Inspects finished product for quality Follows workflow processes and standard work instructions Problem solves and communicates effectively with work team Contributes ideas for continuous improvement of workflow and processes Follows all safety guidelines and procedures Performs other duties as assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Requirements 5+ experience in maintenance and plant operations High School diploma required Associate\'s Degree preferred Robotic and Automation experience Certification in OSHA programs and practices is a plus Interpersonal, Leadership, and Technical Skills Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities, consisting of 12v circuitry up to 480 volt 3 phase. Knowledge of ERP and MES software Ability to manage multiple complicated priorities/tasks Knowledgeable in all phases of construction and building maintenance Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making skills An ability to plan and think ahead over a 36-month time span Problem analysis and problem resolution skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment and be a strong team player Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook Must have basic and hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair in the following areas: o Electrical/electronic systems 12v through 480v o Pneumatics o Hydraulics o Mechanics o Operate material handling equipment, machinery, and powered equipment o Understand P.L.C. function/logic ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: slatham@stainlesstanker.com
