We are offering a contract to possible permanent employment opportunity for a diligent Bookkeeper in Bellaire, Texas. As a Bookkeeper, you will be playing a critical role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will be part of a dynamic team in the telecommunications industry, where your skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation will be highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of bookkeeping for the company including data entry, processing, and recording transactions.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Carry out account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Utilize accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel and QuickBooks, to maintain financial records.

• Perform bank reconciliations regularly to keep track of company spending.

• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Process payroll for the company, ensuring all payments are made in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills in all tasks.

• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

• Communicate effectively with team members and management on the company's financial status

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping is necessary

• Should be skilled in Data Entry

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close activities is essential

• Knowledge and experience in handling Payroll

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organizational and planning skills
