As a Senior Accounting within our group of Technical Accounting, you will apply your knowledge of corporate accounting practices, internal controls, and GAAP to drive the complex accounting decision making process along with managing the day-to-day operations associated with the Technical Accounting programs on a global basis.

The ideal candidate should be highly scalable, possess excellent analytical and communication skills, strong financial systems knowledge and have the ability to work with a sense of focused urgency in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the monthly close process and financial reporting process as part of the Corporate Controller’s team. This includes preparing journal entries, performing monthly general ledger account analysis, and preparing reconciliations as assigned.

  • Participate in compliance, audit and internal control testing programs. This can include planning, preparing or reviewing documentation and testing work papers, as well as the remediation of issues found during the audits.

  • Researching sophisticated issues in technical accounting encountered by the company including accounting for business combinations, revenue recognition issues, impairment of Goodwill and other intangible assets, etc.

  • Coaching and developing peers on Accounting issues.

  • Assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards as required.

  • Developing and documenting new accounting policies and procedures, as well as reviewing and documenting currently undocumented processes.

  • Analyzing and reviewing financial data and preparing financial statement supporting information and providing supplemental financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as required.

  • Identifying and implementing new opportunities for process and productivity improvements in the accounting department

  • Lead special projects as required.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or related field.

  • CPA license strongly preferred, but demonstrated progress towards CPA completion will be considered.

  • 4+ years of Public accounting experience, with strong internal control's knowledge.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with expert proficiency in Excel.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Consolidations and Transfer Pricing.

  • Experience analyzing and applying Revenue Recognition guidance.

  • Experience with Oracle.

  • Ability to resolve problems using independent judgment and analytical skills.

  • Attention to detail and adherence to internal and external deadlines.
