What You Will Be Doing:

As the YES Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing support for quality initiatives in facility operations, supplier quality, and material technology.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

  • Implement daily procedures and review/assess activities against internal control standards.

  • Ensures the conformance to specifications of fabrications, purchased material, and assemblies in an assigned area.

  • Interprets inspection policies and procedures and supervises the activities of personnel.

  • Verifying that quality is being maintained throughout the assembly process.

  • Start of shift Quality meetings.

  • Team members are in place and checked in.

  • Quality equipment in place.

  • Expectation of the day are clearly communicated to the team at the start of the shift.

  • Daily rounds taken in each functional area and stay in their area of responsibility.

  • Communicate with Team Leads before leaving work area.

  • End of shift 5S walk.

  • Ensure Pass Down reports are communicated for the next shift.

  • Conduct initial training and assessment of quality controllers.

  • Other duties as assigned and qualified.

Education/Experience:

  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED required.

  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of industry experience.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Process Improvement: Ability to maintain focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products, and services.

  • Internal Controls: Ability to create, implement, evaluate, and enhance processes in internal controls.

Environmental Job Requirements:Environment:

  • Most of your time is spent sitting in an office environment.

Physical:

  • Will require appropriate Personal Protection Equipment to be worn when in shop environment.

Travel:

  • Typically does not require travel.
