Shift 1 (United States of America) Position Summary: TheSenior Manager, Global Operations Financeplays a leadership role in driving productivity and operation performance across the organization, while maintaining a compliant controls environment to reduce enterprise risks. This role is responsible for directing the preparation, analysis, and presentation of the operational budgets and forecasts. Additionally, this role partners with the Global SIOP leader to work on inventory management, the Commercial Finance Leader to collaborate on accurate costing for new projects, and Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations leadership to drive business results. Work You'll Do: Develop, motivate, and lead a team of global plant financial analysts to drive efficiencies and profitably in plant operations. Direct the execution of the operational business plan and quarterly forecast updates globally, working closely with regional financial and business leaders. Work closely with the CFO on developing and executing the business operations strategy. Drive (working with operations functions) the development of MIME operational priorities and objectives. Support in the development of our manufacturing Strategy; lead analysis on CapEx investment returns Partner with SIOP team to develop processes and guidelines to improve accuracy and automate forecasting, improving, and driving inventory optimization. Drive global process improvement initiatives across finance and participate in Lean projects to improve systems and processes. Direct team to analyze budget/forecast to actual variances, present key insights operational leadership and partner to drive improved business performance. Ownership of reporting and accuracy of key operational KPI's, including, but not limited to, inventory and productivity. Ensure that accounting policies and procedures are adhered to according to Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) and company policies. Establish and maintain an internal control environment in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Collaborate with business and finance leaders to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost control, and/or process improvements to drive business efficiency. Other duties may be assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from a college or university in Finance, Accounting, or Business; and a minimum of 7+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with a preferred emphasis in the industrial manufacturing business segment; MBA preferred. Experience with JD Edwards (E1) ERP High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint Experience with of Power BI (or equivalent) automation tools Preferred Qualifications: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. Proven ability to work in a team environment between the functions of Engineering, Global Supply Management and Operations, and interact regularly with Operating Leadership Team (OLT) regarding goals and accomplishments. Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement, and a strong ability to manage cross-functionally. Deep understanding of operations in a manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as attention to detail Ability to think strategically and have general understanding of continuous improvement / lean methodologies. Expert financial modeling skills and experience with business case development, cost analysis, and sensitivity analysis required. Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.
