As a member of the Global MCC Tax Team, the Tax Manager will assist with managing the global tax profile, including cash tax management, cash repatriation strategies, transfer pricing, legal entity rationalization, global tax planning projects, and project management. The Tax Manager will be responsible for providing information to third party service providers for preparation of federal and state income tax returns and responding to related federal and state tax notices and audits. He or she will also assist with the preparation and review of U.S. and international tax provision calculations. Why work at MCC: Competitive compensation Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k) Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays Responsibilities: Data gather for third party tax providers for their preparation of U.S. federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns Assist with the quarter-end tax provision process and review with external tax consultants; preparation of related supporting schedules and documentation Prepare/review year-end foreign tax provision packets Track and reconcile tax related general ledger accounts Communicate with the IRS and state and local tax governments to resolve notices and audits Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, on tax related process improvements and documenting various compliance issues Assist with tax integration activities of acquired entities Prepare UNICAP and GILTI calculations Manage shared service fixed asset team, including review of fixed asset additions, disposals, and tax depreciation calculations and roll forwards Assist with calculation and settlement of domestic estimated tax payments and ensure timely tax filings Analyze and assist in implementing global tax planning initiatives, including legal entity rationalization and tax efficient cash repatriation Prepare royalty model and distribute invoices to international locations Research withholding tax issues related to royalty, service, and interest payments Assist with transfer pricing project management, policy implementation, and documentation review and maintenance Track and monitor foreign tax returns and statutory account filings Assist with MCC Tax Department corporate budgeting and cash tax planning Project manage R&D study with third party provider Investigate and execute state tax incentives Coordinate state and local registrations Support sales and use tax accountant Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Accounting required, CPA, MBA, or MST preferred. 5-7 years of combined experience in public and/or corporate tax accounting environment and compliance, including federal and state income tax experience with C Corporations required, international preferred. Must have demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products and be able to create & manipulate Excel documents. SAP, Sage FAS, OneSource, and Hyperion knowledge a plus.
