Johns Hopkins University Operations Management and Business Analytics (OM&BA) Assistant Professor, Tenure Track in Baltimore, Maryland

Johns Hopkins Carey Business School invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in Operations Management and Business Analytics. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise or significant interest in Artificial Intelligence for Business and Society, broadly defined to include algorithm design, human-AI interaction, AI policy and ethics, the economics of AI, and data science. The appointment will begin in Fall 2024. Qualified candidates for a tenure track faculty position must have the following:

  • A PhD degree in Operations Management, Operations Research, or a related field conferred by employment start date.

  • Demonstrated a strong commitment to academic research and excellence in teaching.

Teaching responsibilities will include MBA/MS-level courses. Evidence of successful teaching in a graduate business school environment is desirable but not required.
