Position serves as the first point of contact at the District Office for staff, visitors and patrons fielding inquiries and directing patrons appropriately. This position is responsible for the daily management of the District Office including duties which must be completed within a limited period of time. QUALIFICATIONS: * Valid driver\'s license. * Pass background check. JOB DUTIES: * Perform general office duties including answering multi-line phones directing calls and taking messages as appropriate, sending and distributing faxes, greeting and directing the public, handling requests, sorting and handling incoming and outgoing mail, including bulk mailings such as Bulldog Pride, and those from other buildings. * Greet and provide assistance to parents, students, patrons and staff in main entry positively and direct as appropriate. * Maintain front office environment (i.e. organization and office plants); Keep staff common areas (lobby, staff room) presentable, organized and clean. * Responsible for opening and closing the District Office (closing and locking doors and turning off lights). * Coordinate the district office meeting/conference room reservations including issuing and collecting any keys from individuals seeking occasional use after hours. * Set up meeting spaces, including order, procure and arrange the delivery of food products for meetings as requested. * Organize staff pictures and badges with the selected photo company. * Track, order, organize and stock all office and break room supplies (i.e. printers and copiers in the district office). * Assist with office machinery (copy, fax, shredder, staplers, etc.) as needed. * Process District Office facility use agreements. * Be a point person for registration questions. * Compile information for the staff directory. * Maintain paper and digital forms/files for district use. Update and replenish as necessary. * Edits and sends correspondence for District administrative office staff. * Process District mail. * Maintain volunteer list (Criminal History and Disclosure Releases) and prepare letters to volunteers as needed regarding their criminal history. * Monitor and use transportation radio as needed (i.e. contact with the bus drivers). * Assists other district office or print shop staff in the completion of small special projects as available. * Regular attendance is essential to this position. If an absence is anticipated, it is this position\'s responsibility to submit a substitute request via Frontline and train a pool of substitutes. * Maintain confidentiality in all areas. * Perform other duties as requested by Superintendent or Designee. HOURS: * 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. WAGE: * \$17.78 - \$22.21 per hour, depending on experience. * Competitive benefits package for health, retirement, and six percent (6%) employee PERS contribution.
