Develop, coordinate, and evaluation programs, events, and initiatives. Collect and analyze program data and compare to best practices for undergraduate student success initiatives.Partner with ESSC staff to lead the development and coordination efforts for programs, activities, and events. Enhance relationships with faculty, staff, alumni and industry to assist with the implementation ESSC initiatives.Assists with hiring and managing hourly employees, including student assistants, graduate assistants, tutors, and undergraduate research assistants.Manages the marketing, publicity, and assists with the development of printed materials, brochures, and websites. Contributes to external communications, such as website, newsletter, emails, ESSC news, to students, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff.Coordinate with CSE recruiting on admitted student recruitment/yielding events including facilitating New Student Orientation information sessions.Interacts and advises student leaders of student organizations. Encourages their involvement as mentors and participants in academic programs. Serves as representative at student organization meetings.Participate in weekly meetings, retreats, professional development and various other meetings/programs at both the Cockrell School and University levels. Assist with events, programs and other ESSC initiatives as necessary and when needed. Assist with budget management for program area.Serves as the facilitator for ESSC first-year interest groups in both the fall and spring semester. Assists in developing seminar lesson plans and worksheets based on educational theories and research.Performs other related duties as assigned.
