The Building Service Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Senior Center facility, assisting with set up for activities, and requesting supplies and equipment as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Picksuplitterleftaround thefacility,empties trashcans, removes garbagefrominsidethe building and sets out cans for pick up

  • Sweeps,mops,vacuums,andcleanscarpetonaroutinebasis

  • Cleanswindows,mirrors,televisions,andallfurnitureincludingdustingandpolishing

  • Maintains andcleansfacilityincluding restrooms, breakroom,diningarea,storageareas, coffee center and water fountains

  • Replacessoap, antibacterial,andallpaperproductsindispensers

  • Assistsinsettingupandtakingdownequipmentfor activities

  • Requests supplies and equipment as needed

  • Cleansandmaintainsallcardioandweight machines

  • Utilizessafetymeasuresandassistsintheoverallsafetyatalltimesinsidethebuilding

  • Performsallotherrelateddutiesasassigned

Required Qualifications:

  • HighschooldiplomaorGED

  • Knowledgeof basiccustodialprocedures

  • Proven ability tocompleteassigned taskswithinwork time

  • Proven ability tounderstandandcarryoutverbalandwritteninstructions

  • Abilitytoliftupto 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experiencemaintainingupto10,000squarefeet

  • Proven abilitytoreceiveandcomprehendinstructionsverballyand/orinwriting

  • Proven abilitytouselogicalreasoningforsimpleandcomplexproblemsolving
