University Of Colorado Medicine Revenue Cycle Support Representative in Aurora, Colorado

Due to the hybrid nature of this role, we will only consider candidates who currently reside in Colorado or those with tentative plans to relocate to Colorado.

On-site Expectations:

Initial Training: on-site 5 days per week Post-Training: on-site 4 days per week

The individual in this position will support the Accounts Receivable Resolution staff in their efforts to follow up and resolve outstanding patient invoices with various insurance carriers. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Assist with a variety of medical record related tasks Identify appropriate workflow, electronic medical records, and proper documentation Prepare and mail a wide variety of outbound department correspondence Scan and index outbound correspondence Follow standards to resolve claim edits, TES edits, and/or Claim Acknowledgement Response tasks Process corrected claims Attend monthly team meetings Submit Medicaid claims via web portal Locate and retrieve supporting documentation such as EOBs, medical records, charge forms and op-reports May be tasked with providing cross coverage with certain workflows Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and working knowledge and experience with Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care policies and procedures. Must have strong PC skills including Outlook and Word; intermediate knowledge of Excel preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary as well as excellent organizational skills.
