The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

Role Overview

Join this high impact team as an Azure Cloud System Administrator. The individual selected for this role will help create / automate / and operate Azure cloud environments in the classified space. This position is in the Aurora CO RTX location and will be a hybrid position with the expectation to come in the office 3 days a week. The candidate chosen for this role will have proven ability to stand up Azure cloud for highly governed environment.

The individual must have knowledge of Microsoft Azure Government from an architecture and service owner perspective. The individual will also need to have a functioning knowledge of cybersecurity controls and how they are implemented inside the cloud. It is expected that the individual will be required to interface with a broad cross-section of tenants across all RTX business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operations – The candidate is expected to understand how to management an Azure environment with tasks such as account creations, group management etc.

  • Service provisioning using Microsoft Azure

  • Asist with the creation of build pipelines for ASP.NET and .NET core Applications

  • Use of cyber security services and implementation of cyber‐security controls in a cloud environment.

  • Deployment of AVD infra‐structure for company; managing existing AVD deployments and supporting infrastructure requirements

  • Ability to manage customer expectations, resource fluctuations, changing priorities, and delays in road map deliverables, etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience with Microsoft Azure Government

  • Minimum 1 year experience with RHEL

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 3 years experience.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
