• LPN - Floor Nurse

• The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the day-to-day activities performed by other members of the nursing team. The LPN coordinates nursing care delivery to ensure resident’s needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines. The Licensed Practical Nurse performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse, licensed, or otherwise legally authorized physician.

• Assistant Nurse Manager, LPN

• Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager, LPN, evaluates, plans, implements and monitors the effectiveness of nursing care delivered to the patients using best practice nursing standards. The Assistant Nurse Manager, LPN uses management and administrative skills to accomplish corporate, department and facility goals. Additionally, the Assistant Nurse Manager executes and adheres to established policies and procedures, as well as systemic clinical changes.

• Nursing Supervisor LPN

• The Nursing Supervisor LPN – Evening & Night maintains quality clinical care for residents/clients through direct supervision of nursing staff. Communicates modifications to policy and procedures and oversees compliance, serving as a resource to clinical staff. Manages the daily activities of the clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of clinical nursing.

• Must be able to function effectively in handling residents while performing procedures and techniques required to assist physicians and professional nursing staff.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing and have current licensure with the New York State Board of Nursing.
