Title: Security Engineer

Rate: $70/hr

Duration: 12+ Month Contract - Potential Full Time Conversion

• 5+ years of experience within Security Engineering

• VMware vSphere and NSX

• Experience with STIGs

Description:

• Provide services for IT security consultation, systems design, implementation, and support.

• Architecting and administering secure IT system implementations, including those related to:

• Windows Server administration

• VMware vSphere administration

• VMware NSX implementation

• SaaS solutions with local security implications

• Enterprise Data Backup/Site Recovery solutions

• Active Directory, Group Policies, SCCM

• Azure/AWS secure IaaS server/storage/network management

• Consulting in IT security matters relating to local and wide-area networks and cloud-based solutions.

• IT supports the Enterprise LAN, WAN, and edge security, however the Sheriff IT supports several specialized, highly secure wired and wireless networks.

• Implementing and supporting wireless, mobile security solutions, including:

• Cellular router configuration (Cradlepoint/Sierra Wireless)

• Mobile Device Management (MDM) (VMWare WorkspaceOne-formerly AirWatch)

• Mobile Network Encryption (NetMotion)

• Multi-factor Authentication (Okta, HID Digital Persona)

• VPN, Wi-Fi, LTE, Satellite, VoIP

• Designing/Developing PowerShell/Bash scripts to enhance operational efficiency.

• Experience working with vendors
