Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Location: Wave, Atlantic City, NJ
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail professional to lead our team as an Assistant Store Manager of the Wave retail space inside Oceans Casino in Atlantic City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, and will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating a team of retail store associates to meet sales and customer service goals
Support the development and implementation of store sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
Monitor store performance, analyze sales data, and recommend strategies to improve results
Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store environment to enhance the customer shopping experience
Provide support in the hiring, training, and management of store associates, including scheduling and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and adhere to all local and state regulations
Communicate regularly with the store team and stakeholders, and act as a liaison between the store and corporate office
Stay current on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of progressive retail management experience, with a proven track record of success
Microsoft Office Experience is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
Ability to analyze sales data and recommend strategies to improve results
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, night and holidays
