Title - Senior Software Engineer - Bigdata
Job Location – Tampa FL (Hybrid)
Duration – Fulltime
Key Responsibilities
Ability to write robust code in Scala
Understanding of data structures data modelling and software architecture
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and applications to process and analyze large volumes of data.
You will collaborate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.
Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure smooth operation
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in the big data ecosystem
Required Skills
Minimum Experience Big Data Hadoop 6 years Spark 4 Years Scala 4 years SQL 4 years Kafka 2 years Unix Shell Script 2 years
Minimum 6 to 8 Years of experience in Big Data and Data Engineering using Scala or Java
Designing and developing Scala related data pipelines and REST API
Deep knowledge in spark scala API Experience is required
Good experience in Hadoop Big Data Hadoop centric Schedulers
Big Data and reporting System integration through API knowledge is added advantage
