Job Title: Vice President, Data Engineer

Summary of Duties: Architect, build, deploy, and maintain the data platform to enable the delivery of high-quality data-driven applications. Apply software engineering best practices to analytics code. Automate manual ingest processes and optimizes data delivery subject to service level agreements; re-design as needed for greater scalability. Provide clean, transformed data and analytics. Utilize relational databases. Utilize database architecture and data modeling. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings. Perform deployment, maintenance, and administration tasks related to cloud. Develop and implement techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study. Five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Associate, Associate Consultant, Solution Delivery Analyst or related occupation. Five (5) years of experience with: SQL and Python; Relational Databases, Database Architecture and ETL/ELT tools including Informatica and dbt; Deployment, maintenance, and administration tasks related to cloud including: Azure, AWS, GCP, or Private Cloud; Deployment, maintenance, and administration tasks related to Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS migration Services; Git and Unix systems; Agile Development; and Monitoring and log management tools including Grafana/Informatica Monitoring and AWS Cloud watch services.
