Position Title: Talent Coordinator

Location: Atlanta, GA

Reports To: Sr. Program Manager, Diversity & Inclusion

Dotted line manager: Senior Manager, Early Career Programs

Number of Positions Available: 1

This role has been created to give an individual the opportunity to learn and grow within the Human Resources function, specifically within Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and Early Career Programs, with the chance to work cross-functionally with high exposure to the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support planning, communications, and execution of D&I and Early Career programs, including but not limited to Global Diversity Awareness Month, Internship and Early Career Programs and Employee Resource Groups

  • Strengthen relationships with university partners through coordination and attendance of on-site career fairs, job postings and overall engagement with schools to increase interest in Newell Brands career programs

  • Support the early careers program through matching candidates, coordinating interviews (including travel arrangements), and onboarding of new hires

  • Support D&I Recruitment & Talent Management strategies and tactics

  • Assist D&I and Early Careers team with ordering branded products, running program reports, employee resource groups support, mailing needs, etc.

  • Manage inbound and outbound shipping needs of Early Career Programs and D&I teams

  • Research and stay up to date on D&I best practices and partnerships

  • Support external partnerships related to D&I and Early Career such as SWE, NSBE etc.

  • Assisting the Talent Management and D&I teams with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, specifically in Human Resources, Communication, Business or Related Majors

  • 1+ years of related experience

  • Previous experience or exposure to D&I and/or recruiting

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft office

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Self-motivated, action-oriented individual with a desire to work in a team basedenvironment but also possesses the ability to work independently.

  • Ability to manage time, prioritize work demands effectively, and meet deadlines without sacrificing standards of work

  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs

  • Potential to travel to University Campuses 20%
