Position Purpose: As a vital member of our team, you will perform radiographic procedures with precision and expertise under the guidance of our radiologists and clinic management. Your role involves executing technical procedures independently, applying ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, and assuming responsibility for designated areas within the radiology department. The person in this position will work 3 days at the downtown location (Decatur Street) and 2 days at our Chamblee location.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform radiographic procedures with ingenuity and initiative, ensuring accurate diagnostic outcomes.

  • Assume responsibility for designated areas of procedures within the radiology department.

  • Provide assistance with additional clinic duties as required.

  • Uphold clinic, health system, and department policies and procedures.

  • Deliver patient care and support activities appropriate to ages served, including adults, geriatric patients, infants, children, and adolescents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Completion of formal radiographic technology training from an AMA-approved school.

  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 90 days of employment.

  • Two years of previous experience in an acute care facility preferred.
