Your Day to Day:

The Manager of Loyalty & Partnership Analytics will be responsible for three key activities:

  • Providing regular reporting and self-service dashboards to loyalty management and relevant stakeholders.

  • Supporting ad hoc analysis on areas such as member behavior, initiative performance, and annual target setting.

  • Developing data-driven performance insights that enable the Loyalty function to develop and prioritize solutions to drive hotel performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)

  • Use the analytics model to produce performance insight. Help explain how loyalty performance impacts commercial hotel performance, hotel brand strength, and loyalty program performance.

  • Work with the Director of the team to produce observations and recommendations for Sr. Mgmt. Participate in these discussions as required.

  • Ensure the analytics model is fit for purpose and up to date; identify new analytical approaches/ tools to drive efficiencies.

  • Develop and provide regular reporting (weekly, monthly) to the loyalty team and to others on behalf of loyalty team.

  • Participate in initiatives to drive performance. Work with the Loyalty team to define and track key initiatives.

  • Support target setting process including both top line metrics as well as drivers of member behavior.

What We Need From You:

Education –

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in an analytical discipline from a top university with a graduate degree preferred – Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Math are highly desirable.

Experience –

  • 5+ years of experience working in highly analytical teams. Highly detail oriented with excellent quality assurance., with interaction with senior leadership clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated proficiency at analyzing complex data sets. Ability to work independently or as part of a team to proactively identify trends and insights. Strong communication and presentation writing skills; ability to develop compelling storyboards. Ability to balance multiple initiatives and prioritize incoming requests. Expert knowledge in SQL data querying tools as well as Business Intelligence (BI) Tools required.

  • Can effectively breakdown complex topics and turn analytical conclusions into actionable insights and activities.

  • Interpret and explain technical findings to business stakeholders in practical non-technical language.

  • Self-directed curiosity to understand interactions between business decisions and customer behavior.

Teamwork Skills:

  • Facilitates effective team interaction.

  • Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.

  • Develops relationships with colleagues across the business.

  • Manages expectations effectively.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert level at SQL

  • Expert level at data querying ability

  • Expert level quality assurance skills

  • Expert communication (verbal, written, listening) skills.

  • High requirements tracing, documentation & validation skills.

  • High facilitation & requirements development skills

  • High level critical thinking & problem-solving skills

  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or equivalent
