The Franchise Revenue Senior Accountant will provide and supervise the provision of accurate accounting, reconciliation and reporting for the Franchise Revenue Department and contribute to the achievement of company and department goals related to receivables. Compliance to all accounting policies and procedures is expected.

This position will sit within the Atlanta Support Center and be required onsite at least 80%.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise testing and execution of Oracle A/R sub-system changes/upgrades and routine closings and maintenance.

• Participate in planning/testing/training for integrations and system implementations of/for new brands.

• Supervise and troubleshoot reporting/billing/invoicing process including any misc. billing (notes, sales corrections, etc.) for designated brands. Supervise execution and handling of cash posting and reconcile to the bank weekly/daily for designated brands.

• Execute collections processes, initial franchisee follow-up thru legal action, and work with Legal, Franchise Ops, M&A and other Inspire internal groups to move to resolution.

• Produce monthly reporting to management to assist in the wire process and other ad-hoc reporting.

• Point of contact for Franchisee accounting to resolve any reporting/billing/cash issues.

• Work with internal marketing, IT and FP&A teams to facilitate set-up and execution of any additional billing or credit programs involving franchisees.

• Help develop and train staff and lead accountants and assist with hiring process when needed

• Prepare AR Department reconciliations and reporting on a period and quarterly basis.

• Supervises research and resolution of franchisee account discrepancies and disputes.

• Perform all the above responsibilities while maintaining 100% compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and GAAP requirements.

• Conform to the Arby’s Business Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program and company regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-year degree in Accounting and/or Finance

• Educational requirements met to sit for CPA exam preferred

• 3-5 years of accounting experience.

• Restaurant franchising or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES

• Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and database applications in a Windows environment.

• Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication and organizational skills

• Ability to interpret and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings

• Must be detail oriented

• Plans and completes work effectively and efficiently, meets assigned deadlines, and makes sound decisions

• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities

• 2-3 years’ experience in Oracle Cloud preferred
