POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Lead is responsible for the administration and oversight of Project LAUNCH within the clinics of Saint Joseph’s Mercy Care and community-based services. This person carries out administrative duties related to the overall Project LAUNCH requirement and reporting measures, behavioral health strategic plan as well as functions as a direct behavioral health service provider on team including assessing, therapy, and groups. This person also works directly with community service organizations to develop and collaboratively utilize community resources and lead the YCWC. Manages assigned budgets and completes accurate and timely reports on program activities. Participates in health fairs or community events on weekends as requested 3-4 times a year.

*Provides patient care and/ or support activities appropriate to ages served; primarily children ages 0-8.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : Master’s degree in human services or related field required with LPC, LMFT, or LCSW licensure.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: At least three years experience working in a behavioral health recovery services environment, including at least one year in an administrative/supervisory role and at least one year serving disadvantaged or special needs population(s) required. Must have experience working with people with both mental illness and substance abuse/dependence, as well as working in a multi-disciplinary setting. Experience overseeing projects and data tracking. The ability and legal right to drive in Georgia, including an active, current Georgia Drivers License, may be required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be able to build strong, cohesive, outcomes-focused working relationships with special needs populations and the behavioral health teams serving this population as well. Provide ongoing comprehensive psychosocial assessments. Able to effectively establish and coordinate liaisons/working relationships with other community agencies to facilitate consumer linkages to required community resources. Must be able to initiate and maintain cooperative working relationship with patients and those working with patients. Must be able to make decisions both independently and with an interdisciplinary health, educational and social services team. Must possess organizational and leadership skills, including supervision of staff, responsibility for project documentation, monitoring and reporting. Must be able to maintain appropriate professional and personal boundaries and a positive, healthy role model for patients and colleagues. Racial and cultural sensitivity is essential.
