Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

Your Role
The Air Export Gateway Agent is responsible for the timely and cost-effective movement of air export freight managed by the Air Export Gateway department as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. The position is responsible for processing Master Air Waybill consolidations and setting trade lanes encompassing all aspects of the Air Transport Association process.
Your Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and on-going commitment to quality and data integrity.
Prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations.
Interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the region.
Coordinate bookings with carriers, enhance cargo consolidations, and provide quotations
Ensure prompt processing and delivery to the airport, maintaining continuous communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch throughout the consolidation process.
Monitor and track shipments, evaluate vendor performance, and address and resolve any service irregularities.
Report to the Air Logistics Gateway and Procurement Supervisor
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours 8:00am-6:00pm. (Flexibility required to work weekends as required)
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's degree (in Logistics/Supply Chain management, Business management or related) or equivalent experience
2+ years Air Logistics or Gateway Cargo Agent experience
Microsoft 365 proficient
