We are partnering with one of our national clients in the global engineering industry, and recruiting candidates to join their team as a Financial Accountant. This position is located in Athens, TN and would require you to fully work Onsite. The contract is slated to last for 9 months. Please see the job description below for more details. salary: $40 - $45 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze and prepare financial and business information representing limited phases of financial operations in support of various functional groups.

• Assist in the compilation and preparation of reports, graphs and forecasts, and the analysis of trends affecting various financial activities.

• Provide financial information and analyses for a specific section of the organization, as assigned.

• Support the month-end close process, perform account analysis, prepare and validate journal entries

• Reconcile the Purchasing receipts to Accounts Payable ledgers

• Review, edit and ensure accurate Accounts Payable data

• Reconcile assigned Balance Sheet Accounts

• Maintain the capital expenditure spending reports

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of Financial Accounting experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields required

• MS Excel experience required

• SAP and Infor LX systems preferred or any similar ERP systems

• Great communicator who works well with team members, vendors, managers, suppliers, and finance.

• Ability to work with our customers to solve complex billing issues, providing updates to management.
