Description:

A clinically competent surgical technologist, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of the patient during the intraoperative period. Included within this assignment is the responsibility for assisting with preparation of surgical patient by performance of routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the hospital. Other duties as assigned.

PRN - Nights

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must possess a current CST license.

Education : High School graduate, graduate of an accredited school or Surgical Technology program.

Experience: Must possess a minimum of one year current operating room experience (student

experience allowed). Possesses a service orientation, should possess the ability to understand and

react effectively to the unique needs and care for all patient populations. (i.e. neonatal, pediatrics,

adolescents, geriatrics).
