In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead design and execution of primary research studies (leveraging mainly qualitative methods) to generate actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholder teams.

• Design interview guides, run interviews and synthesize the finding.

• Apply sound research and business acumen to help the business not just solve complex questions but help it look around corners.

• Design scalable and nimble mechanisms that help scale qualitative research solutions, tools and processes.

• Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years conducting qualitative research end to end (identifying appropriate research methods, designing, executing, analyzing, and drafting actionable recommendations from primary research)

• Expertise in executing quantitative research methods (e.g. factor analysis, regression analysis, clustering, structural equation models) & mixed method studies (e.g. segmentation)

• Experience using statistical and questionnaire software like SPSS/Qualtrics

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in business, marketing, statistics or related field

• Comfortable to build large reports in Excel including Pivot

Preferred Qualifications

• Research in Non-US markets

• Master’s degree or higher

• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities

• Experience in qualitative research

• Background in B2B research

• Basic knowledge regarding Data Science or Econometrics models

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
