We're searching for an enthusiastic Senior Program Manager to play a key role in our information technology (IT) consulting projects.

About the Role:

As a Senior Program Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing single or multiple complex projects or large programs. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs, define project scope, and assemble high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet all cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with overall program goals

  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources

  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues

  • Monitor project progress and take corrective action as needed to maintain alignment with objectives

  • Oversee project deliverables and ensure quality meets client expectations.

  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders effectively

  • Plan, staff, budget, and direct one or more project(s) to ensure the timely delivery of contractual commitments to customers

  • Supervisory responsibilities may include program/project staffing, resource management, and performance management

  • Gathers pre-implementation and post-implementation facts (from customer stakeholders) to document Business Case, outcomes achieved, and ROI delivered

  • Report project status and outcomes to leadership

  • Effectively coordinates risks and opportunities to leadership

  • Obtains customer validation of outcomes achieved and ROI delivered

  • Documents Past Performance write-ups

  • Primary responsibility for program growth opportunities

  • Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor, and subcontractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates

  • Contract performance, assist with staffing, client deliverable quality and submissions, and assist in contract scope matters

  • Prepares and updates project schedule, establish deadlines deliverables and reports

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field coupled with 8+ years software and/or finance experience

  • 9+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the IT or Government contracting sector.

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically Microsoft Projects

  • Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Resource Allocation Plan (RAP) development, Acquisition Program Management to a Level I/II/III/ACAT program of record, or related experience

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field

  • Consulting experience with federal departments, agencies, and organizations

  • Information systems project management experience

  • Proposal or white paper writing experience

  • Experience in identifying strategic business opportunities with clients, partners, and current projects

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Public Trust to start

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
