Siemens Remote ESS/UMCS Pre-Sales Specialist in Arlington, Virginia

Siemens Government Technologies seeks an experienced ESS Specialist to support our Electronic Security System ESS Sales efforts. To produce technical, write up for proposals and RFI’s. Pre-sales technical documentation including estimates, Bill of Materials, Product costs, labor estimates, and travel and Per Diem costs for sales for ESS projects worldwide. Willing to be trained on Siemens products to handle support of those product proposals.

Job Responsibilities:

•Developing and produce a technical requirement for the SGT Business Development team’s effort for Request for Proposals (RFP) bill of materials (BOM) and cost proposal responses per requirements for Electronic Security Systems (ESS).

•Developing and producing deliverables that include but not limited to the following:

•Site survey reports

•Mechanical experience to objectively understand building operations and impact on ESS installations.

•Technical BOM Detail meeting customer specifications

•Submittal package, including:

o Manufacturer Data Cut Sheets (MFD)

o Software Data

o System Description Analysis

o Shop Drawings

•Reading, interpreting drawings including electrical, electronic, and electromechanical schematics.

•Temporary Technical Security Systems (TTSS) Specifications

•SCIF/UL2050 requirements

•FEBR requirements

•Develop, track, and document RFI and other technical documentation.

•Develop, create, and maintain a Library of data documents.

•The ability to travel at various locations throughout the CONUS/OCONUS for Site surveys, quality control and testing on ESS Projects.

•The ability to travel and complete repairs on ESS and CCTV system and document and produce all reports.

•Develop, produce, review, and submit a variety of written documents including memoranda, trip reports.

•Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the current contract

•Maintains liaison with customer representatives.

•Works with project engineers and Project Managers to resolve technical deliverables issues.

•Adheres to safety standards.

•High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety

•Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

Required Experience:

•Installation experience or manufacture certification on Department of State security systems.

Preferred System Experience:

•Department of State, Overseas Building Operations specifications

•Lenel OnGuard Systems software and hardware

•Axis Video

•Genetec Video

•Department of State Specifications

•Door Hardware

•Forced Entry Bullet Resistant (FEBR)

•Southwest Microwave Systems

•DOS SMSe requirements

•AMAG systems software and hardware

•Video Management Security software

•Hirsch Digi-Trac Hardware

•Software House C-Cure 9000

Requirements:

•Active Secret Security (S) clearance or above.

•Active and Current CAC Card or able to obtain.

•Must have a current U.S. passport.

•Must have 10 years’ experience with the design and installation of ESS Programs with varying customers and multiple locations.

•Overseas Travel required immunizations.

Preferred Certifications:

•Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

•OSHA 30 Hour

•1st AID/CPR

Travel:

•CONUS & OCONUS travel required – 60%

Security Clearance:

•United States Citizen with an active and current Secret Security Clearance or above.
