Registered Nurse (RN) II Charge- Oncology Nights

Texas Health Arlington Memorial’s Oncology department is looking for a top skilled RN II Charge. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Arlington: 800 W. Randol Mill Road Arlington, Texas 76012

Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Night Shift

Department Highlights:

· 20 bed unit

· Med/Surg and Telemetry overflow

· 5:1 ratio, but practices team nursing so you are paired with another nurse and a PCT for 10 patients

Here’s What You Need

Education

· Nursing Diploma (Nursing) required Or

· Associate's Degree Nursing required Or

· Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience

· 1 year experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting required

· 5 years' experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting preferred

· Oncology experience preferred

Licenses and Certifications

· RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

· CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 days required And

· ONS - Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate 18 months required And

· OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse upon hire preferred
