The Maintenance Technician will assist the Manufacturing Engineer in all Excellerate locations with maintenance tasks. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 5 years maintenance or related experience, 2 to 3 years metal fabrication experience, and 1 to 2 years welding experience Travel : 0-25% Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6am-6pm, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited: nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist in design, line/cell layout and movement, fabrication, installation of specialized tools, equipment, and material handling devices used for manufacturing. * Assist cell work teams with work station design, fabrication and implementation of manufacturing processes, and improvements. * Will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment. * Will assist the Facilities Technician with building repair and upkeep as needed. * Assist Manufacturing Engineer with design, start-up, and application of equipment and tools. * Create equipment inspection and repair schedules for preventive maintenance program. * Train employees on proper and safe use of equipment. * Actively participates in Faith\'s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate. * Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
