Analyze and evaluate existing software and database management systems to understand information technology needs, as well as current systems, coding, and testing processes; gather end-users' requirements for software and patch upgrades and installation processes, which will serve as a foundation for the resolution of information processing problems; develop and launch applications to maintain and upgrade the company's computer systems; create, modify, and test codes, scripts, and forms that allow a system to run different types of applications; document all aspects of an application or system project as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades; and there may be a need to work in different locations as required.
