Sartorius North America Service Technician in Ann Arbor, Michigan

We are currently seeking a Service Technician (Inhouse) based at our Ann Arbor, MI facility.  In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, checks and repairs operations of pipettes and balances, in accordance with the priorities and the dispatch of operations monitored by the manager of technicians.

What you will accomplish together with us Provide service and customer support during field and inhouse visits or dispatches. Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks Repairing /evaluating customer equipment as well as demo/returns Perform metrological checks of customer instrumentation Performing software upgrades and modifications on new orders as needed Maintaining accurate repair records Preparing repair estimates for customers Follow and understand ISO 9000 quality system Work with Service Administrative team to ensure customer satisfaction.

What will convince us Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Technical School Certification and or military training in electronic repair 2+ years of instrumentation repair experience preferred Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment. Computer literate with familiarity of Windows based software, w/ ability to learn and understand diagnostic software Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules.
