Trinity Health Registered Nurse RN - IV Insertions & Phlebotomy in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse to support IV Insertions and Phlebotomy. This is a Full-Time, benefited position scheduled 36 hours per week on the 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift with holiday and weekend rotation.

This RN will rotate to a variety of units starting IVs or drawing blood for patients who are determined "difficult IV access." Ability to communicate within the inter professional team to determine best IV access will be necessary. Education will be provided on the use of ultrasound and different types of IV catheters prior to starting role.

Required Education and Licensure:

  • Current Michigan Nursing License

  • Graduation from accredited nursing program: Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire.
