What You'll Do
The EPM Solutions Architect's primary focus is production administration of the EPM solutions for the Michigan Medicine financial reporting and annual budget process. The team manages and all underlying data sources and processes supporting these systems. The role is responsible for providing timely, accessible, and accurate data according to the Finance department defined timelines.
This role is responsible for designing and administering enterprise-level reporting solutions, integrating cloud-hosted reporting applications, data warehouse and critical organization business processes. This position is responsible for analyzing and translating business, information, and technical requirements into enterprise-level reporting solutions. This role is responsible for researching and maintaining knowledge in current and emerging technologies to solve business problems with a focus on cloud-hosted solutions. Problem solving and developing integrated solutions within a complex, varied, and evolving technical landscape will be an essential part of this position. This role will propose changes in process, policy, standards, application, and data model design to peers and leadership. In addition, this position will partner with key stakeholders and leadership in requirement gathering and solution design as well as work with vendor technical teams, enterprise architecture, application, and infrastructure teams, to deliver enterprise reporting solutions.
In performing the role, the EPM Solutions Architect will need to possess strong technical knowledge and experience with relational database models, SQL and multiple Oracle technologies including Oracle Cloud EPM and Analytics applications. This role will require a strong understanding of finance, accounting, and health care business practices.

Who We Are
The Michigan Medicine Financial Systems team provides the leadership, oversight, and technical support for the suite of financial products, applications and datasets used by the Finance Organization of Michigan Medicine for financial reporting, planning, analytics, and decision making. The team is responsible for delivering on-time enterprise-level reporting and business intelligence systems, managing concurrent high visibility projects to support new initiatives, guiding data stewardship, and informing and supporting institutional enterprise objectives.
Production team focuses on administration and end user support to deliver on-time production systems, providing high data quality and exceptional business value to our stakeholders. Responsibilities include all aspects of administering enterprise level reporting solutions.
Responsibilities*
Technical Programming and Application Administration of Production Systems - 50%
? Primary Responsibility for full application life cycle of all productions systems and datasets for the for Multiple Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud Applications Secondary responsibility for full application life cycle of all productions systems and datasets for Finance BI (Oracle Cloud Analytics application used for decision support across Michigan Medicine Finance)
? Administration of Integration of new and modified ETL processes to other Financial System processes with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and automation
? Function as technical back-up for production Solutions Architect teammates
Documentation, Validation and Governance - 40%
Prepares and conducts comprehensive testing and validations procedures related to the annual budget collection
Full integration of new processes into documentation and training
Continuously review annual budget validation processes, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and efficiency
Managing the inventory of system documentation and instructions utilizing searchable dynamic solutions
Maintaining training and end-user documentation
Provide full end user support during the annual budget collection
Work closely with appropriate stakeholders to develop the technical solutions related to the monthly and annual financial reporting and annual budget collection
Maintenance and periodic scheduled testing of full application disaster recovery across all production systems
Create and maintain Data Governance documentation including but not limited to:

Required Qualifications*
BA/BS degree
1-5 years of experience and detailed knowledge of SQL - Intermediate
5-7 years of experience and detailed knowledge of SQL - Senior
1-5 years of technical administration experience in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Applications - Intermediate
5-7 years of technical administration experience in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Applications - Senior

Understanding of common IT business analysis, and/or project management methodologies and best practices
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud applications
Experience with multidimensional DBMS
Experience with query, report writing, and data visualization tools
Clarity Certification or Proficiency
Experience working with Financial and Clinical Healthcare data
