Job Description

Insight Global is searching for a Mammography Supervisor in Anderson, SC. This person will be working in a staff mammography technician role, as well as being the supervisor. Day-to-day will include 80% technologist work and 20% supervisory work. The team sees around 60-75 patients a day. The mammography supervisors day involves overseeing technologists, ensuring machines are ready, and managing patient appointments. They handle administrative tasks, review images for quality, and provide patient support. By days end, they compile reports and plan for the next day, balancing technical expertise with compassionate care. The technician's day involves preparing equipment, greeting patients, performing mammograms, and ensuring image quality. They maintain records, clean equipment, and follow safety protocols, balancing technical skills with patient care.

Skills and Requirements

Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program

Current ARRT Certification. Mammography certification with ARRT

Breast Ultrasound training required within 6 months of hire date. Previous mammography supervisor experience

Breast ultrasound experience

Bone density scan experience null
