Carrington Default Document Specialist in Anaheim, California

The Default Document Specialist will be responsible for accurately and efficiently scanning, uploading, mailing, and routing court documents, signed affidavits, and other documents while ensuring that the most time and cost-efficient means are used to complete these functions. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, investor guidelines, and all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The approved Target Pay range for this position is $17.00 to $19.00.

What you’ll do:

  • Receive various court documents, signed affidavits and other documents from team members, and ensure these documents are clean, free from tears and creases, and are properly aligned for scanning.

  • Operate scanning and imaging equipment, accurately name and route scanned documents to various file folders in company databases, and ship documents to law firms or other entities as needed in a timely, cost-efficient manner.

  • Perform routine audits to confirm documents have been properly scanned, named, and stored in correct file folders and that documents have been mailed to correct addresses and have been received.

  • Utilize all applicable system tools and reports available to effectively manage pipeline of assigned tasks, and complete tasks in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

  • Active California Notary license a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc.

  • Experience operating scanning, imaging equipment, and using shipping and mail delivery services.

  • Outstanding organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
