CNC Mill Programmer Set up Machinist

Job Description

A sheet metal fabrication company is seeking a CNC Mill Programmer Set up Machinist to set up and operate CNC milling machines. This role involves setting up 2-3 CNC milling machines, ensuring all setups are completed accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to meet production specifications, inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, and diagnose and resolve issues with CNC machines, tooling, and programs to minimize downtime. Additionally, maintaining accurate records of setups, programs, and maintenance activities, and collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to improve processes and achieve production goals are essential responsibilities.

Monday-Friday, 6 am – 2:30 pm. Occasional Saturdays if needed.
