Description:

Position Purpose: Join our team as a Certified Nurse Assistant dedicated to providing exceptional care services tailored to the needs and well-being of our participants.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to assess and monitor participant needs, ensuring personalized care.

  • Deliver personal care assistance, promoting participant independence in daily activities such as toileting, grooming, and eating.

  • Provide nursing care in adherence to safety protocols and organization policies.

  • Maintain participant safety by identifying hazards and taking prompt corrective action.

  • Offer behavioral support and supervision, including reminders for medication and emotional reassurance.

  • Engage participants in recreational activities, meal service, and housekeeping duties.

  • Monitor participant health indicators and promptly report any changes to the center staff.

  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.

  • Accompany participants to medical appointments, providing support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Active certification as a nurse assistant in the state of employment.

  • At least one year of experience working with the elderly or frail population, or completion of organization-provided training.

  • Preferred experience in long-term care or geriatric programs.

  • Physical ability to perform required tasks, including lifting and mobility.
