ADELANTE Equipment Technician and Delivery Driver in Albuquerque, New Mexico

$1250 Hiring Bonus

General Description of Duties: The Equipment Technician and Delivery Driverplays an important role in making Albuquerque a more accessible city.As part of a team, this position maintains mobility equipment including wheelchairs and powerchairs, delivers equipment to customers, assists customers with equipment orientation, and helps coordinate backend operations including equipment reservations and customer inquiries. Plans and coordinates equipment pick-up and delivery routes, responds to customer needs, and ensures timely delivery of equipment to customers. Proactively monitors reservations, communicates with customers if reservations cannot be fulfilled. Assists in inventory management including receiving, quality control, accurate data entry, and auditing.

Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required.One (1) year general work experience required. Commercial driving experience, customer service and knowledge of mobility equipment preferred.

Other Requirements: Must pass pre-employment drug and TB screen, and Agency, Federal and State Department of Health background investigations.Additional background investigations may be required depending on the job assignment.Must have and maintain a valid NM driver's license.Must have own, reliable transportation and an insurable driving record. Must be able to push, pull and lift 65lbs., carry frequently.Must have sufficient ability to safely operate and maneuver assistive devices.Adelante is a drug free workplace.
