Robert Half Controller in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Description We are seeking an experienced Credit Clerk to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The primary function of this role is to oversee the credit control process within our organization, including the management of customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This position is a contract role and is an integral part of our Controller department.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records, ensuring all information is correctly entered and stored in our accounting software systems.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times.

• Monitor customer credit accounts closely, identifying any issues or discrepancies and taking appropriate action as needed.

• Utilize a variety of software systems including ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, QuickBooks Pro, and ADP - Financial Services, to effectively manage customer credit accounts.

• Perform accounting functions related to credit control, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Conduct regular audits of customer credit accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Manage budget processes related to credit control, ensuring all activities align with our financial objectives.

• Collaborate with a team of two other professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.

• Adhere to DCAA regulations and standards in all credit control activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of DCAA regulations and guidelines

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to work with various ERP Solutions

• Understanding and experience in Accounting Functions

• Skills in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Auditing skills with attention to details

• Experience in Budget Processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Pro
