Responsibilities

Medicaid Registered Nurse:

Assist Division of Health Plan Contract Oversight, Bureau of Managed Long Term Care (BMLTC), Surveillance Unit in a broad range of planning, implementation, investigation, and oversight activities. This position will assist in the records review of case notes to determine MLTC plans’ compliance to contracting and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will participate in records review during MLTC plans scheduled operational surveys, focused surveys across plan trends, or specific plan- oriented complaint or concern investigations. The incumbent will also act as a liaison with the BMLTC systems, technical assistance, and plan management units and externally with MLTC plan representatives to assure appropriate access and delivery of health services to Medicaid members receiving long term care service and supports. The incumbent will interact with other bureaus and offices within OHIP, Managed Care Plans, CMS, OMH, OASAS and other State agencies.

Qualifications

Additional Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Medicaid

Strong analytical and communication (both written and verbal) skills.

The ability to think creatively and strategically.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Must have an active NYS RN license

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: 70K to 80K. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
